Clinical child & family psychologist

Serving Scottsdale and greater Phoenix

I believe in bringing stability and confidence back into your child’s life.

  • I am a strong believer that children and adolescents thrive best when they are part of a strong, supportive, and healthy family system. As a Child Psychologist, I work with caregivers to help them see themselves as an essential piece of their child’s journey to self-confidence and self-sufficiency. Time and time again, I hear parents say “I absolutely love my kid, but sometimes I really don’t like them!” I totally get it! And I’m here to help you change this. I absolutely enjoy facilitating conversations and interactions that foster stronger, mutually respectful, and more fulfilling parent-child relationships. Together, we will craft an atmosphere for open and honest family conversations, and provide a reparative attachment experience for all family members.

I have over a decade of experience working with anxious and depressed children and teens. In my therapy sessions, I live for the moment when the kids I work with have a lightbulb moment as they begin to understand how to take charge of their anxiety and even befriend it! I understand parents’ countless ways in which they’ve tried to help their child feel better, only to realize they’re right back to square one. This cycle is exhausting and deeply discouraging. You’ve come to the right place. I will walk alongside you and your child on the journey to regain your parental power, fill your child’s toolbox, and help both of you to be an active change agent in your child’s life.

  • I was born and raised in Venezuela and moved to the U.S. as a young adolescent. As such, I consider myself a bicultural and bilingual (Spanish, English) Child Psychologist. I am the proud mother of a spunky almost 3 year old girl and a beautiful baby boy. In my spare time, you can find me salsa dancing, listening to podcasts, and spending time with my partner and our way too energetic Belgian Malinois, Luka.
