Dr. Schaefer is bilingual (English/Spanish) and welcomes Spanish-speaking clients and families!

In addition to assessment, I work closely with children and families in therapy to uncover the root causes of ongoing behavioral challenges or patterns that leave families feeling “stuck” or disconnected. I take a collaborative, compassionate approach, recognizing that growing up today presents very different challenges than previous generations experienced. By considering the whole child within the context of their family and environment, I help families develop practical, individualized strategies to reconnect, move forward, and thrive together.
