Nicole Babb

Child and Family therapist

Serving Scottsdale and greater Phoenix

I will create meaningful change for the family system as a whole.

  • I have over 5 years of experience working with families, couples, and adolescents facing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, separation/divorce, addiction, marital issues, parent-child issues, and trauma. Childhood and adolescence are significant periods of growth and change. Add in the complexities of our ever-changing world and it’s easy to see how quickly one can feel lost and overwhelmed. Working from a family systems perspective, I strongly believe that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. When one member of the family is struggling, the entire family system is impacted.

As a marriage and family therapist, I have specialized training and education that provides a holistic perspective recognizing the impact that individual problems have on the family system. I work from a structural and solution-focused approach with specific, attainable therapeutic goals designed with the “end in mind”. We will work collaboratively to create meaningful change that fosters healthy relationships throughout the entire family system. As a mother myself as well as former perfectionist and over achiever who was riddled with anxiety, I have firsthand knowledge and experience of the impact this can have on the individual and family system. I recognize and celebrate the unique, individual needs every child and family have and utilize a strengths-based approach to rebuilt a healthy, functional family system. I look forward to being a part of this journey with you!

  • I was born and raised in a small town in northern California but have lived in Arizona for 17 years! I’m married and have a teenager daughter in high school. In my spare time you can find me at the gym, walking our dog Minnie Moo (Chihuahua Dachshund mix), playing video games, or reading.
